What does “local-first” mean here?

Chats, journal entries, and your memory timeline are stored on your device by default—you stay in control unless you opt in to encrypted sync. Optional cloud AI paths de-identify first, then call models you opt into.

How is this different from a classic diary app?

Fragments are weighted personal data that compound into an exportable persona—not only narrative storage—with guardrails tied to your own past behavior.

Will my raw journal train public models?

Design goal: no. Identifiable content stays under your control; any cloud inference uses de-identified payloads you explicitly allow. Final terms ship with the product and privacy notice.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Details will appear in our Terms of Service when published; until then, contact us and see our Privacy Policy.

Can I keep the data I create on the Free plan?

Yes. What you capture stays tied to your account; if you upgrade to Pro or Lifetime, you keep your history. If you delete your account, data is removed according to our retention policy in the Privacy Policy.
